I’m thrilled to introduce my new venture, Passport to Wellness! This journey is about creating an at-home spa experience that empowers women like you to embrace self-care and transform bathing into a sacred ritual of serenity and peace.
In 2022, I visited Marrakech, Morocco, for the first time and was utterly captivated by the experience. Every moment was exciting, from shopping at the souks to riding camels and glamping in the Sahara with hot running water in our tents. But nothing thrilled me more than the traditional bathing ritual of the Moroccan hammam.

My travel buddies laughed when I said I wanted to “Oprah” this to all of my loved ones. Look how I used her name as a verb. LOL! “YOU get a Hamman, and YOU get a Hammam; EVERYONE gets a Hammam!”
I don’t need to remind you how crucial it is to prioritize your well-being; however, as someone who once called in to work at 25 and told my office manager, “I’m taking a mental health day,” I can attest that self-care is necessary at every stage of life.
In our fast-paced lives, putting our needs on the back burner is easy. For someone like me, I have spent the past 18 months as a digital nomad while I look for my first house, run an existing PR agency, and launch this new product-based business. Whew!
Bathing has been a true stabilizer during my tough days. A long, hot shower with fragrant, luxurious products offers a chance to wash away the stress and create a little oasis for yourself. Whether you have 15 minutes in the morning, 45 minutes between work-from-home Zoom calls (I’ve done this.), or two hours on a Sunday, be intentional about using your bathing time to relax and reset.

Honestly, I don’t think I really have a self-care routine. I honestly can’t recall the last time I’ve taken a hot bath.
